Original language description
The antibacterial activity of N. damascena essential oil and L. longifolia crude ethanolic extracts was tested against bacteria by the disk diffusion method. Extracts from aerial part of L. longifolia and essential oil from seeds of N. damascena exhibited the most promising results in the test against gram-positive strains. No significant inhibition was observed for gram-negative bacteria.
