Comparison of crystal lattice changes caused by APE treatment of Er:LiNbO3 and by localized Er doping into LiNbO3 obtained by RBS-channeling and XRD analysis
Original language description
The studied samples were virgin erbium containing single crystal wafers of lithium niobate and the same wafers treated by the annealed proton exchange (APE) procedure. The APE samples showed extension of the crystal lattice parameters along the X and y axes. Localized Er3+ doping resulted in amorphous surface layers.
Czech name
Kanálovací RBS a XRD analýza změn krystalové mřížky způsobených protonovou výměnou s následnou stabilizací v Er:LiNbO3 a lokalizovanou dotací Er do LiNbO3
Czech description
APE proces způsobí zvětšení mřížkového parametru podél os X a Y. Lokalisovaná dotace Er3+ způsobí amorfizaci povrchových vrstev
