A comparative study in the synthesis of aliphatic amines from ethene, propene, hex-1-ene and ammonia over ZSM-5
Original language description
Lower aliphatic amines are typical intermediates in the synthesis of a variety of chemicals. Their derivatives are of fundamental importance in agriculture, pharmacy and the automobile industry. However, their commercial production frequently involves multi-step synthesis, resulting in many amines with different distributions and demand. As a result there is considerable interest in the development of new synthetic routes for the formation of carbon-nitrogen bonds. In this respect, the direct addition of N-H bonds to CC multiple bonds, also known as hydroamination, is a particularly convenient method. In this communication special attention will be devoted to the influence of the catalyst and the reactant structure in the direct amination reactions.
