Original language name
Preparation and study of the photoactivity of the blue tungsten oxide whiskers
Original language description
Photocatalytic activity of WO3 or WO2.98 depends on the condition of the preparation. Blue WO2.98 prepared by plasma decomposition of ammonium paratungstate is slightly more photoactive than stoichiometric yelow WO3, the photoactivity of WO2.98 preparedby heating under argon is suppressed. X-ray diffractograms show that the heating of WO3 leads to the partial change of symmetry from monoclinic to orthorhombic
