Production of light olefins from renewable resources - the effect of deoxygenation degree on yields of light olefins
Original language description
Biomass is the only renewable source of carbon and therefore it is an important raw material for the prodn. of renewable fuels and chems. Hydrorefining of triglycerides yields a valuable hydrocarbon feedstock for prodn. of light olefins by thermal cracking. The presence of oxygenated compds. in the hydrorefining product reduces partially the yield of light olefins from its pyrolysis.
