Processing of zinnwaldite waste using gypsum and lime stone methods: A comparative study
Original language description
Gypsum and limestone methods were applied to recover lithium and rubidium from zinnwaldite waste originated in mineral processing of Sn-W ore in the Czech Republic. Experimental data from both sintering methods showed that gypsum method provided higher recovery of lithium at higher concentration in leach liquor. On the other hand, limestone method is suitable for extraction of both lithium and rubidium with good extraction efficiency at lower sintering temperature.
