A number of papers describes adsorption of oxalate on goethite, often in the presence of other ions. However, adsorption and photodegradation of salicylate on goethite in the presence of oxalate has not been studied. Therefore the aim of the present workis an experimental investigation of salicylate adsorption and photodegradation on goethite at various pH with special interest to the effect of oxalate.
