Study of Hydriding and Dehydriding Behaviour of Mg-based Alloys
Original language description
In this study, we tried to improve absorption and desorption of hydrogen by magnesium by alloying. Four binary Mg-Ni and one binary Mg-MM (MM = mischmetal containing Ce, La, Nd and Pr) alloys were hydrided by an electrochemical process. It was determinedthat preliminary nickel and fine eutectic structure support magnesium hydride formation and decrease its decomposition temperature.
