  • Original language description

    The goal of this paper is to study stress relations of various contemporary and historical glaze ? ceramic body systems. Glazed ceramic materials were characterized in terms of chemical and mineralogical composition, coefficients of linear thermal expansion CTE and evaluation of degradation effects. The results demonstrate that measurements of thermal expansions and calculations of stress relations provide relevant information about the accordance of the glaze ? ceramic body system and for the characterization of surface defects. The glaze of historical ceramic tile was appropriately chosen for the ceramic body as well as the glaze of contemporary stove providing the typical character of this ceramic product.
