Original language description
The visbreaking of petroleum vacuum residue and visbreaking of this residue with addition of 20 wt % of polypropylene were studied. In the visbreaking of VR with the addition of polypropylene the higher amounts of gases, gasoline, gas oil were obtained in comparison with VB of VR. At reaction temperatures below 410 °C polypropylene cracked slowly. For this reason, the content of toluene-insoluble was substantially higher in visbreaking of VR with polypropylene.
