Original language description
This work deals with treating and micro- ultra- and nanofiltration of raw sugar juice and with discovering conditions that enable crystallization to proceed without the prerequisite of epuration. The samples were treated with cross-flow MF/UF on ceramicmembranes having porosity of 20, 50, 100 and 200 nm. A special cross-flow testing cell with adjustable tangential speed 0 - 3 m/s has been designed for nanofiltration tests. Increasing of the juice purity and retention of almost 50 % of color matter by MF/UF and rejection of main part of the most melassigenic element by NF belongs to the most important results of this study.
