Biodegradation of PCBs in real contaminated soil -The effect of Plants and rhizosphere microorganisms - sborník
Original language description
Degradation of PCB in real contaminated soil by different plant species was followed during summer time. In vegetated soil removal of PCB was about 20% higher than in non-vegetated soil. Plants transformed PCBs and supported the growth and degradation abilities of rhizosphere bacteria. Primers for DNA responsible for PCB degradation were proposed.
