Original language description
Repeated batch desalting electrodialysis was used for the sodium lactate recovery from the model solution. The aim of this step was to concentrate lactate and to reach maximal possible concentration of lactate in the permeate (concentrate) and to depletethe feed (diluate). The highest sodium lactate concentration of 172 g/l was reached in concentrate and about 1.5 g/l remained in diluate. Than the concentrated sodium lactate was converted to lactic acid by water-splitting electrodialysis and 151 g of lactic acid was obtained in 1 litre.

Czech description
Pomocí opakované odsolovací elektrodialýzy bylo získáno 172 g laktátu sodného v 1 l koncentrátu a pouze 1,5 g/l zůstalo v diluátu. Následně byl laktát konvertován na kyselinu mléčnou pomocí "water-splitting" elektrodialýzy, získáno bylo 151 g/l.
