Original language description
The aim of this study was to estimate the intake of resistant starch in the Czech population by analysis of resistant starch in a range of typical foods representing the main sources of starch intake. From the results, the estimated average intake of resistant starch in the Czech population was found to be 3.2 g/day. Main sources of resistant starch were potatoes, bread, legumes and pasta.
