Characterision of mustard seeds and paste by DART ionization with time-of-flight mass spectrometry
Original language description
DART (direct analysis in real time) is a new technique with wide potential for rapid and screening analysis. DART ionisation method coupled with high-resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOF-MS) was used for characterisation of mustard seeds andpaste. The set of real and model samples of mustard seeds and products were analysed. The possibility of using DART method for analysis of mustard seed glucosinolates was confirmed. DART technique seems to be suitable for evaluation of the quality of mustard seeds and products.
