    NOVELTY - Method for cultivating sea protist biomass, preferably microorganisms of Thraustochytriales, involves performing cultivation in a cultivation medium comprising waste brine solution from process of demineralization of sweet whey. USE - The method is useful for cultivating sea protist biomass, preferably microorganisms of Thraustochytriales (claimed) which are used as animal feed and food supplements, and products in foodstuff, pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, and biotechnology industry. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to cultivate protist biomass using current industrial fermentation capacities.
