Original language description
The properties and synthesis of starch-based nanoparticles (SNP) have been extensively studied in recent years due to great interest in biomedical applications, e.g., their use as drug delivery carriers. There are many methods of SNPs preparation(1); we prepared them by acid hydrolysis of waxy maize and wheat starch combined with phosphate cross-linking. Compounds of phosphorus were assessed by (NMR)-N-31 and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry after decomposition of the samples by nitric acid, and also by FT-IR, shape and size of the SNPs by TEM, dynamic light scattering and optical microscopy, and crystallinity by XRD.
