Investigating sources of contamination in the human indoor environment by endocrine disruptors
Original language description
In this study, a method for the determination of chlorinated paraffins (CPs, n=2), phthalates (n=10) and bisphenols (n=4) in textile samples was being developed. The samples were extracted by dichloromethane (supported by sonication, other tested solvents were ethyl acetate and mixture of hexane:dichloromethane, 4:1, v/v), subsequently cleaned-up by gel permeation chromatography (GPC). In the tested sample (used for method development), both CPs groups, six phthalates and two bisphenols were detected. The repeatabilities ranged from 12 to 21 % (RSD).
