Original language description
Pseudo-periodic large-scale liquid flow in stirred vessel - macroinstability (MI) - is extracted from experimental velocity data measured in standard stirring vessel with pitch-blade impeller by LDV. Spectral analysis combined with proper orthogonal decomposition was adopted. Spatial distributions of MI characteristics are constructed and analysed.
