Experimental and mathematical modeling of polymer particle growth
Original language description
Model of the growing particle with evaporating liquid layer on its surface and liquid inside the pores of the particle is developed. We investigate to what extent can the dynamics of evaporative cooling prevent the particle overheating in the reactor with the help of mathematical model. The effect of delayed activation of catalyst sites on particle overheating is also studied.
