The conceptual description of first-principles based predictive models of particle growth was introd uced to the academic and industrial community. The Dusty Gas Model (DGM) was used for modeling of intraparticle transport. The time scales of particle overheating and growth overlap that pseudostationary models of overheating have limited applicability.
