Original language description
Tissue samples (skin ofmice, normal and tumor) of about 1 mm thicheness were irradiatied by 24 MeV protons from the Munich Tandem Accelerator. The plateau region of hte protons traversing the samples delivered doses of 1, 7, and 50 Gray. The samples wereanalysed using Raman spectroscopy at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague by measuring the intensity of signals sensitive to radiation damage. Effects depending on the delivered dose for both tissues were found.
