    The dynamics and stability characteristics of slurry loop and tank reactors were studied using continuation analysis to examine the effects of catalyst activity profiles on reactor dynamics. Various regimes, such as sustained oscillations, or multiplicity of stationary states were found for catalysts of the decay type and of the build-up type.
