    Permeability of polymer membranes for organic vapors

  • Original language description

    In this work the permeability coefficients of saturated and non-saturated vapors (hexane, heptane, cyclohexane, benzene and toluene) through polymer flat membranes (low density polyethylene, polyether-block-amide) were determined. The differential flow permeameter with thermal conductivity detection of vapor mixtures composition at 25 C and atmospheric pressure has been used. Joining of permeameter with the chromatographic apparatus enabled to analyse densities of molar fluxes of pure compounds and densities of molar fluxes of binary mixtures (hexane+benzene, hexane+toluene, hexane+cyclohexane and hexane+heptane).
