In the method described in the contribution, the image,video-camera or photographic camera. Subject to the camera type, the scanned image can be exported, either in digitalised or analogue form, to a computer for subsequent analysis. Out of a few optionsavailable for implementing our intention, the creation of a virtual instrument was chosen, employing the LabVIEW graphical programming environment, the IMAQ Vision image analyser and the National Instrument hardware for collecting image data. For one's better orientation, we demonstrate the appearance of the user interface using the example of two different applications.
