Original language description
We focus on modelling the hydrogen peroxide-thiosulfate-Cu2+ (HPTCu) reaction in a flow-through stirred reactor. We take a mechanism proposed in literature and aim to fine-tune adjustable parameters so as to fitt the calculated bifurcation diagrams to those found experimentally. We adopt a strategy of semiquantitative comparison of calculated and experimentally obtained bifurcation diagrams.The bifurcation points/curves were obtained with the use of continuation method. These calculations provide bifurcation diagrams which are directly compared to the experimental ones. Then we use this model to study response to single pulse and periodically pulsed HPTCu system.
