  • Original language description

    The paper deals with an experimental assessment of the occurrence of the local swells of free liquid surface by the fluid macro-instabilities in a mechanically stirred vessel conductivity rod probes and high-speed video cameras. It was found that the maximal height of liquid fluctuations by turbulent eddies increase linearly with the stirrer frequency for each impeller diameter. The mean frequency of the local swells occurrence increases linearly with the stirrer frequency.
