    Modeling of chromatographic microreactor.

  • Original language description

    Micro-reactor-separator system with a thin channel filled with a mixture of an enzyme and micro-particulate solid adsorbent immobilised in hydrophilic gel matrix is studied by mathematical modelling. Enzyme reactions with different reaction kinetics areconsidered. The electro-osmotic flux and molecular diffusion are considered as principal mass transport processes in the gel matrix. The electrophoretic migration is considered for charged reaction species. The influence of selected model parameters on the operational regimes of the micro-reaction-separation system is analysed by means of numerical simulations and optimisation.
