Application of Pasquill - Gifford´s Model for Simulation of Dispersions from Complex and Time-delayed Sources
Original language description
According to "Purple book" Pasquill - Gifford´s (P.G.) model is a sufficient and proper tool for modeling of dispersions from instantaneous and continuous steady-state point sources, despite more sophisticated approaches are also available. Recently we reported about package of programs like PUFF, FIRE, EXPO, TOXI and PLUME with illustrative examples for fire and explosions as well as toxic exposures hazard. These relatively simple software products have proved to useful for quantitative risk assessments. The major approach is in computation of so-called isopleths i.e. curves and surfaces with a constant significant value of concentration of a substance.

Použití Pasquill - Giffordova modelu pro simulaci disperzí z více časově zpožděných zdrojů
Czech description
Vycházejí z výpočtu tzv. izoplet, tj. křivek a povrchů s určitou konstantní koncentrací substance.
