Vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) was employed in the chiroptical study of the series of dendronized quinine derivatives up to generation 2. This spectroscopic technique, which connects the structural sensitivity of circular dichroism with the capability of infrared spectroscopy to resolve individual characteristic vibrations, enables to follow "the dendritic effect" in detail.
