Supply Chain of spare parts characteristics. The implementation of classical forecasting methods is not successful for the intermittent demand forecasting. Typical intermittent demand characteristics are 30 and more percentage of periods without demand and low level nonzero demand with high standard deviation. Authors compare classical methods with their variation of the simulation approach.

Specifika dodavatelských řetězců náhradních dílů. Klasické metody předpovědi poptávky nejsou pro sporadickou poptávku účinné. Charakteristikou sporadické poptávky je 30 a více procentní podíl období s nulovou poptávkou a nízkou průměrnou poptávkou s velkým rozptylem. Autoři srovnávají standardní metody s vlastní variantou simulačního přístupu.
