    The aim of recycling process where PET bottles are recycled is to produce pure PET with high efficiency. Owing to some technological conditions and processes the percentage whack of unseparated PET after separation remains significant and the efficiencyof the whole recycling process decreases. The aim of this project was to analyse the influence of intensity and duration of mixing on the separation process. The influence of size distribution of shredded PET flakes was studied also. A noticeable influence of hydrodynamic conditions during mixing was confirmed. The amount of nonseparated PET was decreasing with the increasing intensity and duration of mixing. The purity of PET in a non-floating fraction was higher than 99.7 weight % in all experimentalconfigurations.

    Cílem projektu bylo vyhodnotit vliv intenzity míchání na separaci PET frakce ze směsi PET - PP - PE při tzv. sink-float flotaci. Bylo experimentálně prokázáno, že při hustotní separaci má získaný PET čistotu minimálně 99.7 hm.% a tato hodnota nezávisí nadobě ani intenzitě míchání. Dále bylo zjištěno, doba a intenzita míchání mají značný vliv na množství neseparovaného PETu. Toto množství klesá se zvyšující se frekvencí míchání a rovněž s dobou míchání.
