Immunoanalytical detection of bioaffinity complexes in PDMS microfluidic chips
Original language description
In the experiments, the biological receptor is immobilized on the microchannel walls by a passive sorption. The blocking reagent 1 % BSA is used to cover empty regions on the walls. Then, aqueous solutions of ligands and detection reagents with a fluorescent marker are subsequently introduced in the channels. Finally, a solution of a detergent is used to break non-specific bonds among the biomolecules. The main advantage of the used experimental arrangement is that the reaction time of each reaction step in this experimental arrangement is not longer than few minutes due to the small characteristic dimensions.
