In this paper are presented results from measuring of reaction wetting kinetics of sodium carbonate pellet with dodecyl-benzenesulfonic acid (HLAS) in a heated cell. Reaction of sodium carbonate with HLAS belongs to a group of dry neutralization becausethe base is in a solid state. Dodecyl-benzenesulfonate is the main product of this reaction and is an important surface active agent in a detergent industry. Reaction rate constants and diffusion coefficients were estimated by fitting experimental data with a reaction-diffusion matematical model
