Experimental of three-phase contact expansion during bubble-particle interaction
Original language description
This work is focused on the experimental study of interactions between small spherical bubble and large particle. A special attention is paid to the attachment (adhesion) of bubble on the particle surface. Three-phase contact (TPC) expansion can be characterized using sliding time and time of TPC expansion, using expansion velocity and the length of TPC line in stable bubble position. A high-speed digital camera was used for the experimental documentation. Sequences images was evaluated using image analysis software NIS-Elements. In the enviroment of NIS-Elements was created macro for automatic determining TPC diameter and times (sliding, TPC expanding).
