    Decolorizations of textile dyes in aqueous solutions were studied using laboratory scale biofilters: the trickle-bed biofilter (TBB), the bubbled-bed biofilter (BBB) and the rotating discs contactor (RDC) exploiting biodegradation potential of white-rotfungi Irpex lacteus and Dichomitus squalens. The anthraquinone dye Remazol Brilliant Blue R (RBBR) and the azo-dye Reactive Orange 16 (RO16) were decolorized at concentrations from 50 to 200 mg/L at 28 °C.
