Synthesis of polycaprolactone composites for controlled release of erythromycin
Original language description
In this study, nanoprecipitation method is used to form erythromycin loaded polycaprolactone (PCL) nanoparticles. Formulations are prepared in different PCL and erythromycin concentrations. Acetone is used as a solvent, Span 80 and Tween 80 is used as non-ionic surfactant. Main characteristics of prepared particles such as particle size, Zeta potential (and thus nanodispersion stability) and particle size and shape are determined and discussed.
