The effect of Pt sites oxidation state on NO, CO and C3H6 light-off
Original language description
In this study, we aim on differentiation between the influence of NO2 and O2 on platinum oxides (PtOx formation) and catalyst deactivation. As NO oxidation on platinum is very sensitive to the actual redox state of active centers, this reaction is used to indicate a degree of platinum oxidation. A possible sensitivity of CO and C3H6 light-off to PtOx is further examined.
