Original language description
Because of the non-linearity and time-variability nature of biotechnological processes, it is often impossible to find a description of dependencies among the process variables with help of a mathematical model. The statistical analysis of experimental data, the generation of a rule set using fuzzy variables and fuzzy values for description of the process and the control of the baker yeast cultivation is presented. This rule-based modelling of the observed dependencies is to be used for finding of moregeneral rules and for application in the current knowledge system.
