One of the conditions of manufacturing works survival in European competitive environment is to secure optimal performance and to reach maximum added value. Ability to satisfy customers and flexible response to their demands is a necessity. Company managers are presented with number of tasks by these demands in the framework of all company departments. One of them is machine and production facility maintenance. This part is intended to implementation of Six Sigma methodology. The aim of the paper is to define the procedure of individual steps so, that to lead to break through strategy to significantly improve customer satisfaction and shareholder value by reducing variability in every aspects of business. Thanks to this procedure can be expected enhancing the ability to delivery customer satisfaction and cost improvement results faster- within months from the start and sustains the rate of improvement on-going.
