Original language description
The interaction of Cu+ and Cu(2+) with ZSM-5 framework in the vicinity of two framework Al atoms was studied by means of combined quantum mechanical/interatomic potential function technique. Structure and coordination of copper ions in ZSM-5 and electronic transition energies were calculated and compared with available experimental data. Interpretation of some experimental data at the atomic scale level was suggested.
