The Influence of Electro-Electron Collisions on Electron Thermalization in He and Ar Afterglow Plasmas.

  • Original language description

The electron energy distribution functions for electron thermalization in helium and argon afterglow plasmas have been calculated taking into account electron ůneutral and electron ůelectron collisions. This work shows that electronůelectron collisions can lead to the Maxwellization of the electron energy distribution function and thus to different rates of electron thermalization.
