  • Original language description

Crystallographically characterised 3,6-bis(2'-pyridyl)pyridazine (L) forms complexes with (acac)2Run or (bpy)2Ru2+ first via one pyridyl-N/pyridazyl-N chelate site in mononuclear RuII complexes (acac)2Ru(L), 1, and [(bpy)2Ru(L)](ClO4)2, 3(ClO4)2. Coordination of a second metal complex fragment is accompanied by deprotonation at the pyridazyl-C4 carbon to yield cyclometallated, asymmetrically bridged dinuclear complexes [(acac)2RuIII(.mu.-L-H.+)RuIII(acac)2](ClO4), 2(ClO4), and [(bpy)2RuII(.mu.-L-H+)RuII(bpy)2](ClO4)3, 4(ClO4)3. The very different co-ligand characteristics of mainly .sigma. donating acac- and .pi. accepting bpy are responsible for very different redox potentials and thus for the isolation of the diruthenium(III) form 2(ClO4) with antiferromagnetically coupled RuIII centers (J = -11.5 cm-1) and of the luminescent diruthenium(II) species 4(ClO4)3.

    3,6-Bis(2'-pyridyl)pyridazine (L) a jeho deprotonovaná forma (L-H+)- jako ligandy pro (acac)2Run+ nebo (bpy)2Rum+: Studium smíšené valence v [{(acac)2Ru}2(.mu.-L-H+)] a [{(bpy)2Ru}2 (.mu.-L-H+)]4+ s použitím spectroelectrochemiey a EPR

  • Czech description

Krystalograficky charakterizovaný 3,6-bis(2'-pyridyl)pyridazine (L ) tvoří komplexy s (acac)2Run nebo (bpy)2Ru2+ nejprve prostřednictvím jednoho pyridyl-N/pyridazyl-N chelátu v jednojaderných RuII komplexech (acac)2Ru(L), 1, a [(bpy)2Ru(L)](ClO4)2, 3(ClO4)2. Koordinace druhého fragmentu komplexu kovu je doprovázena deprotonizací na pyridazyl-C4 uhlíku za vzniku cyklometalických asymetricky přemostěných dvojjaderných komplexů [(acac)2RuIII(.mu.-L-H+) RuIII(acac)2](ClO4), 2(ClO4), a [(bpy)2RuII(.mu.-L-H+)RuII(bpy)2] (ClO4)3, 4(ClO4)3. Velmi odlišné charakteristiky koligandů, .sigma. donorového acac- a .pi. akceptorového bpy, jsou zodpovědné za velmi odlišné redox potentiály a následně za izolaci diruthenium(III) formy 2(ClO4) s antiferomagneticky spojenými RuIII centry (J = -11.5 cm-1) a luminiscenční diruthenium(II) částice 4(ClO4)3.
