Labile Lead Phytochelatin Complexes Could Enhance Transport of Lead Ions across Biological Membrane
Original language description
In connection with studies of hazardous metals transport across model phospholipidnmembranes, behavior of complexes of lead with phytochelatin PC2 has been examined. Usingnstripping chronopotentiometry with different values of reducing current, the release of freenlead ions confirms labile behavior. Similar conclusion resulted from voltammetry on silica gelnmodified carbon paste electrode.
