    This dataset contains experimental data on the electron beam–induced dissociation of the iron tetracarbonyl acrolein molecule, which is a potential focused electron beam–induced deposition (FEBID) precursor. The experiments were performed using a trochoidal electron monochromator coupled to a quadrupole mass spectrometer (TEM–QMS) setup and the Cluster Beam (CLUB) apparatus.The TEM–QMS setup was primarily used to study the dissociative electron attachment (DEA) process with higher electron beam energy resolution and to record anionic mass spectra. In contrast, the CLUB setup was used to study dissociative ionisation and to record cationic mass spectra. In addition, high-resolution anionic mass spectra were measured using the CLUB setup. The dataset contains ion-yield curves for anionic species with masses of 84, 112, 140, 168, and 196 Da measured using the TEM–QMS setup.
