Synthesis of optically active N 6 -alkyl derivatives of (R)-3-(adenin-9-yl)-2-hydroxypropanoic acid and related compounds.
Original language description
Reaction of 6-chloropurine and other nucleobases with (R)-oxiranecarboxylate was studied. Ethyl (R)-3-(6-chloropurin-9-yl)-2-hydroxypropanoate was hydrolyzed to corresponding acid and then treated with various amines to give a series of N 6 -substituted(R)-3-(adenin-9-yl)2-hydroxypropanoic acids.
