Cloning of bacterial PCB-degrading gene into the plants

  • Original language description

The aim of this work was cloning of bacterial degrading gene bphC to plants in order to increase their biodegradation potencial towards polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB). For this purpose the gene bphC encoding the enzyme 2,3-dihydroxybiphenyl-1,2-dioxygenase from bacteria P. testosteroni B-356 was chosen to be cloned with the detection marker gene GFP

Klonování bakteriálních genů degradace PCB do rostlin
