Original language description

Five novel structurally related peptides were isolated and characterized from the venom of the bumblebee Bombus terrestris. Some of these peptides consisting of 13-18 amino acids residues presented strong antimicrobial activity against Bacillus subtilis.

Czech description

Pět nových strukturně si podobných peptidů bylo isolováno z jedu čmeláka Bombus terrestris a charakterizováno. Některé s nich o 13-18 aminokyselinách mají silnou antimikrobiální activitu vůči Bacillus subtilis.
