    Optimization of the pyridyl nucleobase scaffold for polymerase recognition and unnatural base pair replication

    Unnatural base pairs formed between pyridyl-nucleotides have been optimized for replication, both as a self pair and as a component of a heteropair. As a result, we have identified a pyridyl-nucleotide self pair that is well recognized by a DNA polymerase, allowing it to be replicated and used to synthesize site-specifically labeled DNA in good yields.

    Byly optimalizovány páry bází tvořené pyridinovými nukleotidy, buď jako homo-pár nebo jako složky hetero-párů. Byl identifikován pyridyl-nukleotidový homo-pár, který byl dobře rozpoznáván DNA polymerasou a umožňoval replikaci a použití v syntéze DNA specificky značené v určité poloze s dobrým výtěžkem.
