Reaction of thiolesters with nitrogen ylides
Original language description
By pairing unstabilized nitrogen ylides generated in situ with functionalized thiolesters under ambient conditions new intramolecular carbon-carbon bond forming reaction was developed. The scope of the reaction was illustrated on a series of substitutedthiolester substrates yielding a new method for the synthesis of 2-substituted tetrahydrothienyl compounds through unique 1,2-thiolate shift. While the nitrogen ylides were used in synthesis previously, ours is just one of a few reactions where unstabilized nitrogen ylides have been utilized in synthetically meaningful transformation.
Czech name
Nová intramolekulární reakce thioesteru s dusíkatými ylidy
Czech description
In situ generované dusíkaté ylidy reagují s funkcionalizovanými thioestery v selektivní intramolekularní reakci. Klíčovým krokem je unikatní 1,2-thiolatový přesmyk, ktery vede k substituovaným tetrahydrothiofenum ve vysokých výtěžcích.
